Little Hands, Big Focus, One Friendly Hedgehog
Some of the best learning looks a lot like play. The Momi Toys Wooden Hedgehog Threading Toy is a chunky beechwood hedgehog full of little holes, ready for your child to lace, thread, and re-thread as much as they like. As they guide the wooden needle and cotton cord in and out, they quietly build the skills that later make holding a pencil, doing up buttons, and tying shoelaces feel easy.
Why Parents Keep It in the Toy Basket
- Builds fine motor skills: threading strengthens the pincer grip and hand-eye coordination, one hole at a time
- Grows focus and patience: an open-ended challenge that helps your little one slow down and concentrate
- Screen-free and Montessori-friendly: purposeful play with no batteries, lights, or noise
- Easy to take along: slips into a bag for cafes, car rides, and flights
- Made to be trusted: smooth, solid beechwood with rounded edges for small hands
Our Promise to Your Little Learner
At Momi Toys, we care about the small moments that add up to big growth. This little hedgehog is more than a toy. It is a chance for your child to practice, keep trying, and feel proud when the lace comes through the other side.

The Momi Toys standard
What we check before it reaches you
Safe against skin
Soft, breathable fabrics and non-toxic finishes, because everything ends up against a cheek or in a mouth eventually.
Wipes clean fast
Covers that zip off and materials that survive a wash, so a spill is a five-minute problem and not a ruined afternoon.
Packs away small
Folds flat, tucks behind a sofa or into a car boot. Small homes and weekend trips both stay manageable.
Grows with baby
Adjustable and open-ended by design, so the thing you buy for tummy time still earns its place a year later.
FROM FIRST ROLLS TO FIRST TOWERS
Every stage of play looks different — tummy time today, stacking towers tomorrow, running the whole house next year. Momi Toys brings together pieces for each of those stages, chosen to be soft enough for a newborn and sturdy enough for a toddler who tests everything.
